Our Mission
- Howler Energy Resources is the new player in the Caribbean oil and gas upstream sector. Our mission is to acquire existing onshore and shallow offshore producing assets and by utilizing our in-depth knowledge of this oil production basin we plan to optimize existing production, explore and develop to rapidly grow the company to over 30,000 bbl/d .

Dr. Ryan Ramsook

- Dr. Ramsook is a Trinidad local who has spent the past 20 years focusing on the geology and exploration of the wider Caribbean region . Having studied under and worked with such noted geology authorities as Dr. Raymond Wright and Mr. Gerald Fong, Dr. Ramsook has become one of the foremost authorities on geology in this region.
- Ryan received his B.Sc. (1st class honours) Earth Sciences in 2003 , his Ph.D. Geology in 2008 and Post Doctorate Geology in 2009, all from the University of the West Indies. Since then he has authored over a dozen publications on the geology and exploration of the Caribbean region such as Jamaica, Barbados, Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, and Cuba. He has consulted to various oil companies such as Rega Resources and Finder Exploration and from 2008-2012 was the Country Manager for Sagres Energy in Jamaica in charge of all exploration activities, seismic ,reservoir modeling, and prospect generation and was also the Geological and Exploration manager for Trinity Exploration .

- Since starting his petroleum career with Dome Petroleum in 1984, Mr. Squires has spent the last 40 years optimizing conventional and heavy oil production from underperforming fields in all parts of the world. He has worked for and consulted to numerous U.S. and foreign oil companies such as Exxon, AERA, Mobil, BP, Pioneer, Dominion, Caltex, PEMEX, Pertamina, PetroCanada, AEC, PanCanadian, Devon and many others. His work for these companies has covered conventional, cold and thermal heavy oil recovery technology, production optimization, and commercial play development.
- Andrew has been instrumental in the foundation and building of public and private companies in recent years through enabling major asset development projects, creative joint agreements capitalizing on the development of proprietary technologies, and successful private financings in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
- He is one of the 4 founding members of OSUM Oil Sands Corp., a multi-billion dollar market-cap private Canadian oil sands company formed in 2006 with over $1 billion of equity raised from an investor group made up of Blackstone, Warburg Pincus, GIC, KIC and others.
- Andrew also serves as an advisor or director for the boards of several oil, resource, and technology companies .
